A call for applications
The African fashion industry is constantly evolving and a new culture is blossoming, driven by young designers whose ambition is to do things their own way. These young designers, most of them based in Africa, are competing with designers from all over the world for the quality and beauty of their creations, but they still need to gain recognition.
Africa Fashion UP invites young African talents selected by a specialized international committee, to present their creations in Paris.
This selection committee bases its decisions on the following criteria :
Conditions of participation

Be a young African fashion designer OR from the Diaspora

Be under 40 years of age
-
Have designed at least two women's, men's or unisex ready-to-wear collections.

Have more than 2 years of experience or 2 years of existence as a brand
Selection criteria

Design and marketing of at least two ready-to-wear collections

Quality of the creations presented

Quality and professionalism of the visuals provided

Background and experience of the creator

Number of passages during fashion shows (at least 6 outfits)

The 5 winners will receive the following rewards:
